![]() I hit a 350ft shot and the ump thought my bat was shaved. Like the other reviewers, everyone that sees me hit with this bat wants to swing it. I've been gaming a 2007 Miken Recoil for 3 straight years but I've been buying a lot of new bats looking for something that feels great and can eventually replace it - and I finally found a worthy successor. I've had around 80 cuts so far and now I won't swing any of my other bats. I had no problem getting the bat head around on an inside pitch and placing the ball is easier than it should be with this bat. The sweet spot is also huge and mishits went over the 300ft fence twice and I got no feedback from the handle. The barrel on mine is still a bit stiff compared to broken-in bats but feels soft - at least softer than the Flipper USA. The handle is slightly thicker than most bats. I would say that the Flipper OG is true to weight. Very similar to my Recoil which is end loaded. In contrast to the Juggy, the Flipper swings balanced through the zone yet has a surprising, powerful feel. Pros: I've swung every 2016 Demarini bat for ASA and this is my favorite. ![]() Hoping Demarini has and honors the one year warranty. I'm happy because now he knows I wasn't just "making excuses" but sad because we really loved this bat. Hubby, a lefty, mostly places the ball so he was hitting off the sweet spot towards the end, until last night. You could hear a definite thud in the center meat of the bat. I started complaining that it had a dead spot. Cons: Trying to keep the rest of my teammates from sneaking into the batters box with my bat in their hands. This bat performs as advertised, overall great purchase. If there is a better performing ASA bat out there, I certainly haven't found it. Pros: Little to no break in time required, bat starts to really open up after a few swings.
